Stiles had five days before he had to move into his dorms. A week until class started. And right now was a good time to look at his bank app and try not to freak out over how little money he had. Stiles was pretty curious about that carnival he saw on the way to work. Super curious. He was kind of leery about carnival rides because they seemed like they were built by old drunks but he loved the food. He was seriously considering stopping there after work.

Or he'd leave work early to stop by. It's not like there was a lot to do today.

There was dust on the bar top right where Derek normally stood. No, he didn't understand why that might be, but he was dusting it off with a rag.

Sometimes Fandom just had weird little whimsies. And sometimes he was pretty sure Tiny was just messing with him for some reason.

Tiny was a jerk.

Stiles hadn't been to work in...awhile. But he liked to think he had a good excuse although possession wasn't exactly something you could get put on a doctors note. So he just showed up and hoped nobody asked about it.

It was kind of nice to have a distraction. Sitting in the house the last few days really hadn't improved his mood.

Stiles had to admit he wasn't exactly looking forward to work after another sleepless night, but he had to get out of the house. You know. Before people got concerned.

He wasn't doing much in the way of work, just staring at his computer screen with a coffee in his hand, hoping he wouldn't nod off. Or maybe it'd be a relief if he did at this point
